Artist's Comments
This photo is a combination of 35 separate 6mp frames from an EOS 300D IR camera. The camera was custom modified to pass only infrared light (750nm to 1500nm, where the CMOS sensor becomes 'transparent'
 .It is a fascinating study in what the eye can not see... and to me one of the most beautiful looks that can be had. Digital IR photography gives me a chance to see what no other human can see and then translate that image into a medium that can be shared. Final image size 4kx15k in size, or over 50" long at 300dpi. |
